Responsibilities

Summary:    We are seeking a dedicated and results-driven Senior Analyst to join our Operations team. The Senior Analyst is a skilled role that requires a proactive individual who can enhance team capabilities and drive efficiency.  The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in operations, training, support and has a strong understanding of technological solutions and their implementation within an operations setting. This role requires an individual who can provide comprehensive onboarding and training for new hires; has a strong insurance background, product knowledge, technical background, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with business, enterprise, and technical teams. The Senior Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and drive efficiency. 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Onboard new hires across multiple segments and provide standardized base training on various systems and applications, ensuring consistent training for all new employees.
  • Facilitate training sessions with the business on system updates, new technologies and applications. Discuss additional training needs, resolve issues, and gather feedback.
  • Collaborate with the business, support team, business analysts, developers, and other technical teams to implement new product launches, assist with solutions and/or provide additional training that meets the business needs.
  • Provide comprehensive support and training for new product initiatives. Develop test scripts and complete testing for new product initiatives prior to going into production.
  • Work closely with business to gather, analyze, and document business process.
  • Promote a proactive environment by researching, recommending process and best practice solutions for continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure that business process aligns with best practices, standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation, including test scripts, process flows, and training documents as processes and workflows improve.
  • Vendor management and invoice processing
  • Provide day-to-day support and address operational needs through the Operations mailbox.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience:

  • 4-year college degree preferred
  • 3+ years of work experience as an Operations Analyst within P&C Insurance Industry required
  • Experience working in collaborative environments with multiple segments

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:  

  • IMS and/or Imageright proficiency preferred.
  • Experience in operations, training, and support in the insurance industry.
  • Excellent training and onboarding skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to professionally interact with all levels in the company.
  • Basic understanding of insurance principles.
  • Skills in Microsoft Office applications, specifically SharePoint, Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook. Powers Apps and Power BI a plus.
  • Ability to learn new products/process in a high paced environment.
  • Well-grounded in Service Management.

Compensation & Benefits

 

The applicable base salary for this opportunity is $80,000 - $90,000.  The base pay offered will be determined by factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements.  In addition to the base salary, this opportunity may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
